In September 2025, we were thrilled to take home Insider Honours’ Underwriting Innovation of the Year for our smart follow implementation with Atrium. It was a brilliant night, and a proud moment for the InsurX team. But for us, this award isn’t the finish line. It’s proof that the future of underwriting is already here and gathering momentum.
Atrium's respected team of leading underwriters wanted to secure more broker submissions, but didn’t want to dilute their line using a traditional consortium approach.
We helped follow markets’ define their appetite in algorithmic rules. Now, when Atrium quotes on a lead line, the broker can forward the quote to InsurX to match it against the follow market's criteria.
Within an hour, brokers can now receive quotes for at least ten times the size of Atrium's line.
